best snowboard for 2007-2008?
i am a thrid year snowboarder, looking to buy a new board for christmas. i am currently looking to get either a burton or forum board, but i will look at other ones. tell me which board you think is the best, and why. also, i am willing to spend some money, but i dont want to spend a fortune.
p.s. i might need new bindings too so if you find a deal where i can get both the board and bindings, i'd be happpy to hear about it.
Ok I am not being biased here but if you have a deep pocket and are ready to ride this beasty....I'd have to say the Lib Tech TRS w/Banana Technology and Magne-Traction is the best....because Ive been riding for 9 years and I own this board and have ridden and it beats all the 5-6 boards Ive had before.....the Banana technology is reverse camber and puts the rocker of the board between your feet and makes its incredibly easy to rip the shit out of the mountain and it gives you crazy pop. The magne-traction gives you 7 contact points on each edge of the board whereas a regular board has 2....its almost impossible to catch an edge...trust me I've quite literally tried. Its an AMAZING board of course you gotta have the dough
