Would a 155 cm snowboard be ok for someone who is 5'8" 180 pounds? It has Magnetraction?

Its has magnetraction and some people say that you can go shorter than normal. I know I would usually go 157-8, but would this be ok?
I understan that it would normally be too short but does the magnetraction make it matter less? And for those who think this is funny for some reason, I do understand that the size doesn't matter a lot, but its kinda a big purchase, K? Also, do I have to worry about the bindings being to big in general because they may be a little off the board.

i am 5'10" and 180 pounds the way i shop for my snowboard is usually you want the tip between you nose and your chin but some people prefer it smaller because it is easier to carve and move around.
