Does having a good really help?

Hi guys,

I started off with cheap broadset that most people dont even know about because I was noob.

my friend also started off with cheap board sets, but after he became so much better, he got himself a burton set and what he says is good gear really does help snowboarding

is this true?

if this is true, I am thinking of getting new sets for myself, cuz Ive been using my board set for years even tho I am actually not a beginner anymore.
I dont know what determines the beginner and ameture, but I actually do boxes, jumps and carving obviously,

so tell me your thoughts, what you think?

Uh, yeah it's true. A nice board really helps. If you like to hit jumps and rails you'll want a park/freestyle board. And you'll want new bindings too. Get a nice board like Ride, Rome, Forum, K2 or something like that. Burton makes good stuff, but it's usually overpriced, and they make it so that you have to buy Burton bindings if you have a Burton board because of their three-hole design on their boards. Don't get some cheap crappy board though. I wouldn't recommend getting Morrow, Lamar, 5150, or any low-end stuff like that. Have fun shredding...
