Sims snowboards seems to be one of the most reasonable priced snowboard companies on the market today. You can easily locate a Sims snowboard through several different retailers across the internet. The prices on the snowboards are actually very reasonable with some snowboards costing $200 or less for a full size men's board. That's a great deal compared to many other manufacturers.
Sims offers women's snowboards that are specifically designed with their lighter and smaller frames in mind. The snowboards themselves are narrower, designed for smaller feet and better fit. The lighter weight helps with the versatility and maneuverability of the snowboard; however, they can have more progressive cuts and be made out of more advanced materials which in turn allow women to keep up with the men, if they want. Sims offers all three basic types of boards in a variety of different construction options and flex capabilities. The type of board you choose will determine what construction and flex you will receive. There are charts that are available on various websites that will help you determine the specific qualities of various snowboards such as the flex and the type of finish that it has. The Sims brand really does offer a UV coating protection on the snowboard. Other boards may also do this, but Sims advertises this fact and offers it pretty much on every single snowboard that they manufacturer.
