snowboard + i need new bindings... please help!?
I think I'm an okay snowboarder for having spent a total of three weeks doing so. I can ride like theres no tomorrow and I started hitting up the park recently. I can do your basic 360s, 50-50s, boardslides, melons and indys.
anyway- my board is a 148 burton blender (last years model), i'm 5' 7" and my boot is a size nine. I don't like my bindings because 1- they are too small (stupid guy trying to make a sale last year) and 2 i don't like the feel (they are k2 bliss).
I'd love to have those new bindings that have the totally flat bottoms like the new burton ones, but I dont know what kind I should get for what I do. My brother has the new burton cartels and I like them alot (they definitely help when it comes to staying flat on jibs), but people tell me I shouldnt get guys bindings.
please help, what would be a good binding for me that has its strengths in park, but are pretty decent on the rest of the mountain. thanks.
Take your boots with you when you go to the store, and fit them to the bindings you like best. There is very little difference (if any) between guy's and girls bindings other than the size. I bought my sister Rome Arsenals last year and she loves them. Usually, the girls bindings are just a pink or purple version of the guy's.
