Purchasing my first snowboard... what should I be looking for?

I am 5'2 and weigh 120lbs. I have snowboarded before and know how, but I am not sure of the details that go into buying my own board. Is there a size I should look for? What about my boots and bindings? How can I find the right fit? I wear a size 7-7 1/2 in regular shoes, is it different for snowboard boots?
I am wondering because if I find a really good deal online, I'd like to know that I am purchasing the correct fit for everything. Also, is there a good place online to purchase new snowboards at a discounted price, or even snowboard packages, since it is summer?

Anything else I should know about purchasing snowboard equipment?
Thanks guys!
I live in Sacramento, CA so if anyone knows of a good place to get a deal on packages and such in my area that'd be great!!

Since you said that you've snowboarded before, what sizes have you rode? People forget that while renting/borrowing boards that presents a good opportunity to try different sizes and types to figure out what YOU like. The size would be determined based on the type of riding you want to use the board for. For a good all-mountain board and your size, 146-152 should be good.

As for the boots, although I completely believe that this, above all other gear, is the one thing that you should buy for yourself and not rent/borrow (who wants to wear smelly shoes that who knows wore all day and left their toe jams behind) Beside, boots give you the most feedback as far as comfort goes especially after they've molded to YOUR feet. the only problem with buying boots online (and don't get me wrong there are great deals online) is that the sizes with every company, similarly as in any other type of shoes you buy, varies. So, if you wear to fit a 7.5 regular shoes, you may need 8 in DCs or 7's in another brand. I would recommend that you find a shop near you and at the very least try on different brands and make note of them. That way you will know what sizes will fit you and you don't have to experience the hassle of trying to return boots to an online store.
