I just bought a 2008 Burton feelgood and am waiting for it to come in the mail. In the meantime, I want to go buy bindings and boots. Should my bindings be specifically fitted to my board or is it pretty generic? Should I just worry about fitting my bindings to my shoe size? I'm am 8 so I'm borderline between M and L .. it is better to go to a medium or move up to a large? Will the straps be too loose for my feet on large bindings? Also, I'm looking at Burton Lodi boots. Any reviews on them in terms of comfort? What about the Rome Bastille womens boots? THanks!
Most bindings come with both the standard 4x4 mounting discs and the 3D mounting discs for Burton boards. So you can use pretty much any bindings on your board. If they don;t have the 3D discs with them you will have to get them from a board shop or the manufacturer.
Since you are on the borderline between binding sizes, wait until you get the boots. Some boots run big and some small so make the decision after you know what size your boots are.
