Should I go with a reverse camber or no?

I've been shopping around for my first snowboard lately and thought I knew which board I wanted to get (2009 Ride Crush DFC - $190 @ sierrasnowboard.com). I stopped into a local board shop today and the salesman mentioned the new known as 'reverse camber' or a 'rocker board'. At the shop they have a 2009 k2 Turbo Dream for $290, which is a rocker board. Only thing is I don't know how I feel about k2 as a snowboard brand. Is this new worth the extra price tag, whether it be an extra $100 for the k2 or at least $200 more for a 2010 board?

the best tech out there right now is reverse camber and MTX magnetraction. a lot of companies have been copying the the reverse camber that Lib Tech and gnu pioneered, but none of them have an asnwer for mtx. mtx means the board has a wavy edge creating more points of contact with the surface.

This helps out a lot in icy conditions. I would recomend getting a board from GNU or lib-tech which are the same company. Get a board that has btx which means banana traction, (reverse camber and mtx)

i would suggest gnu riders choice or a lib-tech travis rice.

It is totally worth it.
